At the request of MERCI we have an opportunity to assist a small African American congregation in Clinton.

The Last Day Gospel Fellowship Church has only about two dozen older members. They have an old dilapidated parsonage in which the widow of their former pastor has been living. The City of Clinton has condemned the house and is requiring that it be demolished.

The Church will pay for the costs related to demolition and disposal and help in providing meals for the volunteers. Church members and neighbors will also join in the project. We will work together, break bread together and worship together as brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ.

Each volunteer is asked to contribute $10 as a one-time contribution to MERCI for its costs in the project.
